It needs some help!
Maybe it was just the night we went in but we have gone in a lot and it has been good. But this night everything as going wrong. My red beans and rice were only ok and everyone elses food looked like it was from buffet line and not good. The soft drinks had to be reminded about and water had to be asked for. Not to mention the mice running around the floor while you eat. I love opening the doors but it is gross eating while mice are running around your feet. I love everything about this place so for this bad experience i hate to have tourists think this is what every new orleans restaurant is like. Dirty and Mice!\t\n\t\nStill love the pimms cup. Maybe it was just a really bad night but i don't think we will eating here for awhile.

Go for the atmosphere. The interior is one of the best in the Quarter for historical feel.

From the gorgeous courtyard to the wait staff of classy gentlemen in bow-ties to the consistent strains of classical music to the 18th century environs... Simply put, Napoleon house is a classic. Great as a bar or an afternoon lunch stop, and not to be forgotten for dinner parties, company events, or receptions. The fair is pretty standard New Orleans bistro food made the right way and sold at a great price for the French Quarter ($6-10). Napoleon House is the best place to destress and relax during lunch. And be sure to try a Pimm's cup.
If you are only in New Orleans for a short time, Napoleon House should definitely make your top list of lunch spots to try out.
