The owner/manager 'Nicole' is very rude and does not want to pay a fair rate even if you are certified. She has a very bad attitude even if you do an excellent job in any assignment (so they don't lose that client!) but she doesn't care. You get what you get and you don't get upset...sort of scenario here. I have done 5 depositions for them and won't be taking any more. This is a very small agency who doesn't care about the interpreters but the money they can generate with their 100% mark-up. That's right! It's not that the client doesn't want to pay a fair rate....it's that she wants to keep all the money to herself and pardon my language...but 'screw those interpreters'! ...Let's just say...what goes around, comes around.
