I purchased a ticket to a food and wine event for a friend's 62nd birthday. I had never used this service before. There was no explanation of how the event worked, specifics on what time to arrive or what to wear, so after purchasing the ticket I emailed for help. A person wrote back telling me to bring the receipt and to meet at 6, dinner at 6:30. He assured me someone would contact me before the event to confirm and answer questions. I heard nothing until 2pm the day of the event (20 days). All I received was another email stating the time to show up and to bring the ticket. No specific indication of where the dinner was to be held or directions to the facility. My friend did not attend because she didn't know where to go or what to expect. When I emailed to voice my frustration for lack of help and information, and ask for a refund or credit for another class, I was told too bad and that there was nothing they could do. I got ripped off, and my friend has no gift!
