Learning to see

When I first took lessons with Connie Olson I was amazed at what I didn't know about drawing, seeing, and art in general. At the studio I have learned things that I never would have associated with art and now know how essential they are to the process. Her lectures, one on one direction, and enthusiasm as a teacher help you to grow into a good artist with grounding and direction. I feel very fortunate to have found her studio.

Essential lessons

I have learned more about seeing and drawing with Connie Olson, than I ever learned as a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York. She lives and breathes the Classical Methodology and takes you through the basics in her Foundatin Classes. I find I am using those essential principles everyday, from how I look at a subject to how I solve the problems of duplicating it into two dimensions. I expect to be with Connie a long time. She is a wealth of information and has all the enthusiasm and confidence to educate anyone with an interest in the visual arts.

Do you teach beginner classes? I can draw a little and am interested in watercolors.

Are you available for art lessons? I would love to give it a try. If so, how much would you charge for a beginning student? Thanks, Brenda Holt 843-761-2014
