Columbia River Christian Academy

This is the worst "Christian" school I have ever been a part of. The relationship between the current Elementary teacher and her students is inappropriate and abusive at best. She encourages very unhealthy relationships between herself and students. Having them brush her hair during class, excessive hugging and kissing. Had a child pull his pants down in front of the class to show his Spina Bifida scar! (against the child's wishes and without parent's consent!) I heard her many times loosing her temper and saying hurtful statements like, "If I was your mom I'd kill myself!" After just one year in this school, she boasted about how my children where already a grade ahead of what they should be. You can imagine my surprise when I had them further tested in the local public school to find that each of them were an ENTIRE grade behind! We needed to pay for private tutors the next year for 5 months just to catch them up and repair the damage done by this 'teacher'. Please be careful!
