Poor service
Airco installed the heat pump at my house and within 2 years I have had to have it serviced three times. They charge an exorbitant amount of money, including an $85 service charge just for coming out.
The only reason I used them was because my ac was still under warranty for parts and I thought I might be able to take advantage of this. I was wrong! The first problem was a capacitor that went out. They charged me $85 plus $100 for 30 mins of labor.
Next a fan motor went out. This time it was $85 plus $225 for the exact amount of labor as the capacitor. supposedly they weren't charging me for the part. They also told me my refrigerant was low. after another $90 I was set to go. I asked if he could check the downstairs unit to see if it needed refrigerant as well....he told me no, I would have to have them come out again ($85) to check the other unit for refrigerant .
Now (forty five days later) I am out of refrigerant again. Go somewhere else and save money
