I've had three service calls in a period of 6 months for my garage floor flooding which looked like the A/C. Each time it was , 'Drain Stopped Up'..Chris came on the third time and said the platform needed to be replaced and stated it would take 4 hours and the cost of the platform and my problems would be over. I agreed to an approx cost of $550. The platform was replaced and after 7 hours and a cost of $775..I am done with Admirial Air.................

Tech came out did not check anything, turned on air. Said yep you need a new unit, it will cost you about 20,000.00. finally he said my evaporator needed cleaned and this might fix the problem for a while. I had this done just 2 years ago. After 2 weeks it stoped cooling. Called Bowman Heat and Air, they fixed a leak and recharged unit. Side note, Bowman tech said I woud pay oly about half of what Admiral charged for a 18 seer unit and get 2 rebates and a tax brake.

The technician told us we needed a new compressor, at a cost of about $2500. We consulted with another contractor via telephone while the technician was still at our house, and were given a different diagnosis. The Admiril Air guy then changed his recommendation and told us that we needed two parts at a cost of about $400. He also recommended that another $400 part be replaced, which we declined. We were skeptical about calling Admiral Air after reading the reviews on this site, but did so because they serviced the unit for the prior owners of our house. We called a different company the following day and had a much better result...and learned an expensive lesson through this experience.
