By far the best ambulette service on long island. If you go with any other you are making a huge mistake! from the service to the pricing they can not be beaten!

I contacted the service immediately and spoke with a gentleman who informed me that he had questioned this and was told to send the ambulette anyway.

I further found out that the order was entered into the computer, time stamped on October 24, 2012 at 4:19. This was entered approximately 8 days after the initial booking for December 1st.

Needless to say I now have a very disappointed wife, she stated she was completely unaware and there was no doubt in her mind that my efforts were going to work.

Had the driver been made aware of the surprise, he could have warned off staff and confirmed with the office prior to them contacting my wife, thus preventing my wife from the “phone call”

What is particularly distressing about this is that the driver showed up right after a MAJOR hurricane, “Sandy” was had he been successfully, would have transported this woman to “Lombardis on the Sound” which was not even open due to power outages.

As a matter of fact we had a conversation about my wifes’ birthday being on December 11, and how I was planning it on the 1st to throw her off. I even stated “I know I am calling really early, however I want to ensure I have this arranged.” I asked if it was too early for December 1, a Saturday night and she responded it was no problem.

On November 1st, 2012 my wife contacted me in a panic explaining that the nursing home contacted her stating that there was an ambulette service who were claiming that they were there to pickup my mother-in-law to take her to “Lomardis on the Sound”. My wife put together the fact that I had staged a party for me in which I was the one to be surprised to throw her off. At this point the surprised was ruined.

I went through significant time and effort, and expense for this occasion and this was of special significance due to the fact that my wife has never ever been surprised.
