yourACT offers affordable courses for Adults, Kids, and Teens.

Our adult on-camera acting classes in Atlanta provide a complete program of training for TV, film, and commercials. Courses cover all aspects of acting for the camera from auditions to the realities of performing on the set. You'll receive in-depth instruction, honest critique, and constructive suggestions as you enhance your abilities and build your confidence.

With classes limited to 12, you'll work on-camera each class—using film & TV scripts, plus commercials and corporate videos—learning not only the basic craft and techniques of acting, but also the technical demands of on-camera acting. Or get behind the microphone in our voice-over workshops.

If live performance is more your style, classes in Writing Sketch Comedy and Acting in Sketch Comedy are taught by cast members of Atlanta's premiere sketch comedy troupe, Sketchworks. Or get on stage and perform your own standup comedy routine in Manny Oliveira's Standup Comedy class.

Realizing that kids need a well-rounded acting program, yourACT has tailored its children's classes to give them a taste of what it's really like to work on-camera and on stage, plus the thrill of improvisation.

Our 2-hour Saturday classes take the kids through three 40-minute sessions. They experience 40 minutes of improv, then on to the studio for 40 minutes of on-camera acting, and 40 minutes to practice their stagecraft in our 100-seat theatre. The kids are divided into groups by grades: 2nd through 4th, 5th & 6th, and 7th & 8th. This ongoing course focuses on using imagination, creativity, concentration, and focus to create strong, believable characters, whether in front of a camera or on stage.

At yourACT we use the same approach for teens as adults. You'll learn in an energetic and supportive environment.
