About Lusk, WY
The town of Lusk, named after Frank Lusk, a rancher who donated land for a railroad station, is located on the historic Cheyenne-Deadwood Stagecoach route in Niobrara County, Wyoming. Major attractions include the Lusk Municipal Golf Course, a nine-hole public golf course and Paleo Park, where dinosaur fossils have been excavated. Each year in July, the Legend of Rawhide parade is held here. Businesses in Lusk include Cakes by Peggy and Iris' Daycare. Lance Creek Elementary School is located here. One of the best places to visit when you are in Lusk is the Stagecoach Museum, where you'll find a collection of buggies, relics and an old store front.
