The New Mandarin Restaurant

1.0

Their food comes from a box. I bought the same potstickers at Walmart 2 weeks ago, spent less money, and when I made them, they tasted better. The last time I ordered sesame chicken, it was actually not a chicken patty, breaded, fried, cut into strips, and had no sauce whatsoever. It was actual real chunks of chicken, lightly breaded, with a thick sauce coating, and covered in sesame seeds. There wasn't a single sesame seed on this and it was extremely dry. I despise McDonald's and I would rather eat there than go back to this place again. Not to mention the hot and sour soup looked like vomit and tasted about the same. I don't know about anyone else but I would rather not eat something that is slightly yellowish-brown with lots of little soggy white chunks floating on top. The rice wasn't cooked thoroughly (aka still crunchy), the mongolian beef tasted terrible, and my boyfriend got riotously sick afterwards. That's Hard to do. \t\n\t\nSincerely,\t\nHis Girlfriend That's Watching Him Puke ...read more

Altitude Chophouse & Brewery

1.0

Laramie is not particularly classy and evidence lies at Altitude Chophouse & Brewery where a peculiar blend of arrogance and ignorance wafts from the staff. Even the menu, which attempts to apply culinary artistry into the meal description, has absorbed said blend. \t\n\t\nAlthough the business is popular in Laramie (which leads me to believe the residents have low standards), it is hard to discern what makes this destination desirable. Even though there is a full time hostess, being seated is a timely affair. Being waited on is another miserable experience. Be prepared to have empty glasses sitting on the table, to wait an extrordinary amount of time to have your order taken, and for common courtesies (like knowing the available salad dressings and bringing the correct drink order) to be forgotten. \t\n\t\nAs for the food, well, if you like half of your steak to be gristle and your sandwich dripping all over your hands this is the place. What makes it amazing is that the meals are dramatically overpriced in conjunction with the poor culinary decisions. The menu is short and has the diversity of an assisted care center on a military base. \t\n\t\nLong story short, this restaurant is not a good representation of Laramie eateries and has the worst service I have ever received.\t\n\t\n ...read more
