What a great experience! I am used to spending quite a bit of money for good sushi. The food was good, HUGE selection and variety of sushi, both rolls, nigiri/sashimi, etc. and I spent about half the amount of money that I normally would. The rolls are massive, service is great and my date and I were stuffed when we left.\t\n\t\nIf there was one little improvement the restaurant could use it would be the atmosphere. I love their food. I go there every week now since we are visiting Stevens Point for kid's music lessons. My kids love their food (their favorite is beef ribs "Kalbi" ). We always order "Mulmandu (steamed dimsum)" and share as an appetizer. My favorite is beef soup/stew "sogogi jeongol and my husband love squid box (medium spicy). Their meat and rice are different with other restaurants'. Try it! You will love it! But you may better call before you get there if you do not have long time to wait. I had the pleasure of working with Bernard for 10 years doing wait staff. He is Very Very passionate about food and how it should be prepared. We are very lucky to have him in Wisconsin because his expertise could have put him anywhere in the world. His food is far above average and his passion (yelling in the kitchen) for how things are done makes Bernard's a must visit! He will be retiring soon (after 58 years, YES..... 58 years of cooking), so don't miss out. Try the Poached Salmon in Dill made with a shrimp stock, and a side of saffron rice. I am moving to LA and will miss Bernard's as much as I miss my family. He is a very kind man if you have the honor of getting to know him.
