Blue Diamond is one of those restaurants that has been in business forever, but every time you go there, you have no idea WHY it's still in business. Growing up, my family would go there on the weekends for pancakes or whatever, and I always remember good times and at least decent food. But the last several times I ate here the place got worse and worse. Twice now I was eating the soup and found steel wool in it. If I didn't find steel wool, then I'd find a hair. It's ridiculous. But the very last time me and my wife stopped to eat there, our waitress was unbelievable. We had this young heavyset girl who couldn't take a hint. She talked and talked like she knew us or something. I cant even tell you how many pictures she showed us of her son or brother, telling us he had cancer, telling us her life story I guess. When she finally brought our food, it was ice old. But she never asked how it was, cause she was showing her pictures to some other customers by then. ...read more
