About Elk Mound, WI
Elk Mound is a part of the Dunn County region of Wisconsin. It is conveniently located near Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and the Twin Cities. Major attractions include the Mound Hill Park Castle and Elk Mound Hill. Each year in the summer season there is hiking in the village’s parks. Among the biggest companies in Elk Mound are Bremer Bank, and Mutual of Omaha. The biggest schools here are Elk Mound Middle School and Elk Mound High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Elk Mound is the Chippewa Valley Museum. In recent years, Elk Mound has begun to expand from being an agricultural community to a business-driven area.
