Nurse Nancy's Doll Hospital

I don't know if Nancy simply has too much on her plate or if she just doesn't care but I called and called and called trying to get an update on my doll that she had for almost a year. FINALLY, I got a lady on the phone that said she (not Nancy) had worked on my doll and it was done and they would ship it to me. I also needed to send in payment (I had given a deposit). HOWEVER, the final price was almost double the original quote, which Nancy wouldn't write down on my deposit receipt because she said final price can vary depending on how hard it is to track down original parts/pieces for my doll. So when my doll finally arrived via UPS it was not packaged well. BUT the main issue is the doll looked HORRIBLE. She looked like a clown. I'm serious! The blush was bright/hot pink and covered all over the sides of her face. This doll originally had tiny round light blush spots. The paint looked like they had literally spray painted her with a can of tan spray paint. It was just awful. THEN my doll was missing the original hair which was supposed to be cleaned and this WAS indicated on my deposit receipt. When I called, Nancy told me my doll never came with hair. LIAR! My doll is worthless now and it cost me almost $300 to have her repaired at this 'hospital'. If you have a precious doll you love, learn from my experience. DO NOT entrust it to Nancy or her staff. I would have given her no stars but this website requires at least one. ...read more
