I absolutely love Macadoos! I was introduced to Macadoos by my father, since he does a lot of Business with the owner, Nick. Now it's become a family favorite. My family and I drive out from Bremerton nearly once a month just for the delicious BBQ and fried pickles! YUMMY! ...read more

My husband and I always enjoy MacAdoos! The prime rib sandwich is my husbands quick pick up dinner on the way home to my favorite bowl of chilli. Other than owning and operating, Nick did us all the best favor.. he is open for the best breakfast in town! ...read more

More of a restaurant than a rib shack, the food is consistenly delicious. The Fried Okra & Onion rings are my favorite appetizers, but don't fill up because the dinners are tasty and large portions. The Ceasar Salad with barbqued chicken is lip smacking good and the cornbread croutons are irresistible. We've never had an issue with the service, but they do get busy. Did I mention they also serve breakfast? Biscuits and gravy are my favorite -- savory and meaty. ...read more

The food at Macadoo's was fantastic. Authentic barbecue, not canned meat heated in the oven. It was pricey but the quality of the food made it worth it. Our service, however, was terrible. We sat looking over the menu for about fifteen minutes before we were even offered drinks. Once our food arrived, our server didn't return. We had to go inside to ask for refills. Because of the bad service, we didn't leave a tip. The restaurant took it upon itself to charge us 15% and we're not exactly sure why. I emailed to ask for a refund, three days ago, and they haven't bothered replying. Although the food was good, we won't be returning and plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau if the 15% fee isn't refunded promptly. There were only 4 people in our party so it wasn't a charge for a large party. BEWARE and check your receipt should you choose to dine here! ...read more

As locals, we have often enjoyed MacAdoos for lunch and dinner and it's always great. They are now serving breakfast so we gave that a try last week and it's awesome. The best ever! I had a smoked salmon omelet that was delicious. The toast, potato's, coffee, service-it's all great. Too busy on weekend mornings though. Go on a weekday if you can. ...read more

Not only do these folks provide incredible BBQ, a menu that should meet the needs of most any diner, microbrews, local wines and a friendly, competent staff. they have always shown us the willingness to take that extra step in making our visits to their business something that is worth the hour and one half drive to get there. These folks have set the standard for other Port Townsend eateries to emulate. ...read more
