Issaquah is a part of King County and within the Seattle metro area of Washington known for the Issaquah Alps. Major attractions include the Cougar Mountain Zoo and the Gilman Village shopping center. Each year in October the Salmon Days Festival is held to celebrate the return of the Salmon to their birth place, it includes a parade, crafts, artists, sporting events, and other activities. Among the biggest companies in Issaquah are Costco, and Microsoft. The biggest schools here are Issaquah High School and Skyline High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Issaquah is Triple Ex, one of only two remaining restaurants of the Triple Ex Root Beer company dating back to 1895.
