Brewster, located along the Columbia River, is a part of Okanogan County, Washington, and is known for its radio telescope, which is a part of the Very Long Baseline Array. Brewster's name was derived from homesteader John Bruster. Among the restaurants in Brewster are Your Columbia Steak House, and Camperos. The schools here are Calvary Baptist Christian School and Brewster Grade School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Brewster is Legion Park, which contains a community center, a public pool, sports fields, a boat launch, and a dock to fish from.
