ANTIQUE MEDITERRANEAN POTTERY
Vitruvian Tile & Stone Studio located in Bernardsville, NJ has received a new shipment of antique terracotta pottery.
For nearly 15,000 years, cultures around the globe have been hand-throwing and wood-firing terra cotta clay vessels as a useful and decorative means of storage. Using fired clay to store items ranging from water to wine, this artisanal craft is rich in history and tradition. Each vessel is one of a kind and most range from 75-150 years old. Originally used to store olives, oil, wine, water and lime, they now make wonderful home decor.

Lifesaver
I was "playing" kitchen contractor and needed help finding an affordable tile solution for my kitchen backsplash. It had to tie together my existing saltillo tile floor and new granite countertop and fit my budget. Vitruvian sent me four samples they felt fit my color p...alette and pocket; I selected the one I liked best and they had it delivered to my door! They even offered to help me find an installer, if I needed one. They really know their industry and provide great customer service. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
