Interactive Poster Safety Training | Mymic Training Technologies

MYMIC Training Technologies has created a first to market product in the Interactive Poster.  The Interactive Poster is the first of its kind with the advanced technology, which is proprietary to MYMIC Training Technologies, used to make the poster come to life. With the use of the Interactive Poster App, which is free to download on both Android and IOS devices, users can scan the image on the poster by pointing their camera at the image.  Once the app scans the image, it will then come to life with a unique and compelling video. The MYMIC Training Technologies Interactive Posters can be used for general safety training, health and wellness, site-specific instructions, OSHA compliance, and testimonials.  MYMICTraining Technologies created this multi-functional product to be used by numerous industries who are targeting the millennial age demographic, which is becoming the largest demographic in the workforce. The Interactive Poster is revolutionising the traditional static safety poster by developing a way to get users even more involved and aware of the safety hazards surrounding the workplace. The Interactive Poster can have directions or checklist that will play for users to know what to do before using a piece of equipment. To make sure that it is being used to its full potential; data can be tracked and reviewed for record keeping purposes. This is a new and creative way to communicate with employees besides the traditional ways.  Adding this Interactive Poster in as a means of communicating can differentiate a company’s workplace. The Companies who wish to use the InteractivePoster can control nearly everything about it, including the image on the poster as well as the video content that is played once the image is scanned.  Besides being used for safety purposes, this is a great interactive product that can elevate a company’s marketing and branding. Politicians will be using the Interactive Poster as their campaign signs because they will have the capability to deliver personal messages their group of followers.  Movie Theatres will use this technology for new movies coming to theatres.  Users will be able to see the trailer of a movie just by using their phone camera to scan a movie image. The goal MYMIC Training Technologies had in mind when creating the Interactive Poster was to create a unique experience each time.  With all the advancements in technology keeping employees and customers engaged can be difficult.  The Interactive Poster will help leverage that experience and keep customers and employees happy. MYMIC TrainingTechnologies’ has a highly skilled and dedicated engineering team that can interchange both the image and video as the user pleases.  Users of the Interactive Poster are encouraged to create custom content to really make their own. ...read more

Incident Specific Learning Team Training | Mymic Training Technologies

The Incident-Specific Learning team training created by MYMIC Training Technologies is unique in its own with the highly detailed avatars recreating a scenario.  That scenario provides high-level executives examples of ways to handle machinery work incidents.  The first scenario that is demonstrated by the avatars starts off with a common incident in the workplace. A pallet jack is wedged stuck underneath a pallet and the employee is doing her best to free the pallet jack.  As the employee works with the pallet jack moving it up and down, she finds and opportunity to pull it out.  To her dismay, the large objects on the boxes tumbled over cause her to fall and become injured. Preceding the injury to the employee, the executives put together a learning team to discuss the incident and learn from it.  The ideal learning team set up is typically five to six members, with a learning team coach guiding the meeting.  The members should include the supervisor of the injured employee and a person who witnessed the event take place. The learning team members should try and keep it simple as the story can often get complex depending on the number of witnesses present.  The first meeting session should be learning as much as possible about the incident, taking notes on important parts of the story. Also in the first meeting, the piece of equipment should be analysed by determining if accidents have happened with this piece of equipment before and what was done to help prevent it the first time.  The next session should be a twenty-four hour period known as soak time. Soak time gives the team time to take everything in as well as time for the team leader to determine if there are any more questions that need clarifying.  A safety contact will be joining in to review what was talked about in the last meeting, what went well versus what did not go well, as well as what could have been done to make it better. Once the team has gathered and questioned everything they will have a review to make a change for a better workplace.  Each person in the team will have the chance to share his or her views on what can be done to prevent this same injury from happening down the road in the future. The team leader should be encouraging members to be comfortable enough to speak their honest opinion. This training created by MYMIC TrainingTechnologies gives users an interactive chance to see the entire process of dealing with an injury.  Making sure that all the necessary actions are taken is vital to keeping the workplace as safe as it can be. ...read more

Working at heights Safety Training | Mymic Training Technologies

MYMIC Training Technologies has created a bundle option available that includes all training that involves working at heights.  Those training are scaffolding, Ariel lifts, fall protection, and ladder training.  Each one of the training covered in the bundle has unique importance. Scaffolding safety training is created to teach users the proper safety measures and cautions to take when using scaffolds to ensure optimal safety. All of the safety techniques that are demonstrated in the Scaffolding safety training are compliant with OSHA’s rules, regulations, and standards. The scaffolding safety training covers the different types of scaffolds such as self-supporting scaffolds and suspension scaffolds.  The safety training informs the user of important things to consider when choosing a scaffold.  Load capacity is something that needs to be taken into consideration as there are different OSHA rules for different load capacities. The higher the load capacity will require certain “D” rings and snap hooks.   In order to meet the OSHA scaffold standards, the ‘D” hooks and snap hooks must be made from drop-forged, pressed, or formed steel.  They must also have a corrosion-resistant finish with smooth surfaces and edges to prevent damage to connecting parts of the system. MYMIC Training Technologies’ Aerial Lift Safety training will cover the different types of aerial lifts that are typically used. Articulating boom lift, telescopic boom, scissor lifts, towable boom lifts, telehandlers, reach forklifts, carry deck cranes, and personnel lifts are all examples of aerial lifts that are covered in the safety training.  These lifts were selected to be covered by MYMIC Training Technologies’ team because they could have different OSHA rules to follow.  Also covered in the aerial lift safety training are the types of hazards situations that OSHA recognises as being dangerous when using an operating an aerial lift. Fall protection safety training will provide information on the different types of equipment, what to take into consideration when choosing a piece of equipment, the unique guidelines to the equipment, and the safe work practices.  Since all of MYMIC Training Technologies safety training is OSHA compliant, users will learn what OSHA considers a dangerous height that needs protection. MYMIC Training Technologies’ Ladder safety training covers the different type’s ladders, such as step ladders, platform ladders, trestle ladders, two-way stepladder, and single portable, which can be made from wood, steel, and fibreglass.  This is important to note because a different type of ladders may call for special safety wear or setup. Along with the different types of ladders, this ladder safety training also covers ladder selection, proper ladder setup, appropriate ladder use, and best practices.  Depending on the type of ladder being used, OSHA could have different rules and regulations for each.  This training is compelling and covers all of the important areas for each topic. This is the best deal available for all companies who deal with working at heights.  Once complete, users will be given an examination that they must pass in order to be officially trained.  The score at which is considered passing is determined by the employer. ...read more
