We have huskies and they sometimes get a little nuts (i.e. running a racetrack through the house and wrestling with each other). I recently needed to ask the store if there were any pliers and I have been on the pohone for an HOUR for a question. When I did talk to an associate...well, let's just say this was frustrating. I have had more time spent with the advertisement from a computer than I have with a real person. I am not happy. I could have driven over and found out the information for myself. I have had my belongings in storage at Uncle Bob's self storage for just under a year. In March they raised my rent by $8.00. I made this adjustment on my automatic bank pay, but for some reason they reverted back to the previous rate on April 1. This meant that I was short $8.00 on my $87.00 payment. I was not made aware of this problem until after the 3rd of the Month. I sent a check for $8.00 and then received a bill for a $15.00 late fee. I told them that this was outrageous and absurd. I just received a bill for $40.00 late fee for not paying the $8.00, then the $15.00 late fee on time!!!!!!! A $40.00 late fee for $8.00 that I paid as soon as I received the bill!!!!!!!!! They are also threatening to sell all of my property if I don't pay them immediately by REGISTERED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER!! This for my banks error and for a customer who has always paid on time and even in advance while in the process of moving out of state. Do not purchase a mattress from this company. The delivery personnel destroyed some of my personal property, before they even entered the house! Initially I was told over the phone that everything would be fixed or replaced. Then the next day management refused to compensate for the damaged property, and in fact, tried to blame the reason for the property being damaged on me. Management was condescending and unsympathetic. Customer service non-existent with this company. I'm in shock. To have someone come out to the house just to do an estimate will cost nearly $100, and then I have to have the damaged repaired. I will never shop at this store again; in fact I will never shop at any store that the Virginia Beach management is associated with. I will actually be filing a civil suit.
