If you are looking for hard to find comics and don't want to spend extra money in shipping online then this is the place to go. Unfortunately the owners drive away their own customers. Gamers will be turned away by the price of items. The husband spends all day in the back of the store like a hermit selling items online. When he gets mad he calls from another phone to his wife cussing and yelling, knowing their are customers in the store that can hear him. One particular day I was to the point of walking out because the husband was going berzerk over the phone, customers looked at each other with concern, the employee was practically sacred to death and the wife on the phone just taking his verbal ranting. As a Lynchburg native who frequented the shop every Saturday for years. It was really disappointing to see the mess it's become.I spent years playing yugioh there, buying vintage games, etc and although it was cluttered it was a nice atmosphere. I revisited a few times over the years and each time it just seems to fall a part at the seams.The isles are over flowing with boxes of junk, most items aren't priced, and when the management finally takes the time to get a price for you it's usually the highest "buy it now" price on ebay. I tried buying a NES from them and after opening 8 boxes with the console but no cords they told me they'd sell it to me same price but no worries the cords are cheep online. The managers swear causally in the store and prices are absurd over the top. One of my friends had to quit working there after several times of them trying to pay him in store credit. Worked for this company for around 9 yrs and we do things with a different style.. Word of mouth is working for the other stores in town. I recommend for people to shop multiple places and find someone that will be honest with you whether you are buying or selling.. Just makes sense! ...read more
