About Centreville, VA
Located in Northern Virginia, Centreville is a dynamic, growing suburb of Washington, D.C., known for politics and culture. With all the conveniences of suburban living, Centreville is still rooted in the past. Settlers first established a tavern there in the 1760s. The town is near important Civil War battlefields in Chantilly and Manassas, and history buffs should be sure to visit the National Battlefield Park in Manassas. The quaint town of Clifton, on Centreville's border, hosts a Wine Festival every May, featuring the creations of Virginia vineyards and set amongst historic buildings. Centreville High School, also in nearby Clifton, is the largest school in the area. Eddie Royal, who grew up in Centreville, is currently a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos.
