About Orangeville, UT
Orangeville is a part of the central region of Utah known for the 1984 Wilberg Mine fire that took 27 lives and having been founded by a mere four families. Major attractions include the Manti-La Sal National Forest and entertainment by the Home Dramatic Company. Each year in the spring season, the only commercial greenhouse and nursery in the county opens in this town. Among the biggest companies in Orangeville are Emery Telcom Long Distance and Superior Striping. The biggest schools here are Cottonwood Elementary School and Emery High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Orangeville is Joe's Valley Resort and Marina. The famous explorer Kit Carson is associated with the area.
