Our Holiday Pottery Sale

Our Holiday Pottery Sale begins at the Redbud Cafe, in Blanco, Texas on Dec. 12, 2009, and will go through the end of December. The sale will feature handmade pottery by the cafe's owners, Jon and Jan Brieger and friends and fellow potters, Gaye Lynn and Michael Hodgson. At this unique event you will have the opportunity to shop from a great selection of handmade pottery,  fresh from recent firings,  in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Redbud Cafe! The Redbud Cafe is Jon and Jan's newest venture and a great place to gather with friends.  The cafe's focus on fresh and local produce makes for a delicious selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, quiches, and freshly baked confections. In addition to the made-from-scratch entrees and desserts, the cafe also serves fresh roasted coffees, and Blanco's own Real Ale on tap along with a hand-picked selection of local wines. Driving directions From Austin: Take Hwy 290 west to Dripping Springs;  continue on 290 to Hwy 281; turn left on 281 and proceed to Blanco. Turn left onto the Blanco square at the traffic light. You will see the  Redbud Cafe on your left. From San Antonio: Take Hwy 281 north to Blanco. Turn right at the traffic light just past the Old Blanco Courthouse. The Redbud Cafe will be on your left. ...read more
