FastMed Urgent Care

If you are looking for an Urgent Care Clinic I highly recommend going here. My 19 month old daughter fell pretty hard and landed on her shoulder. I quickly rushed her to the ER and was cleared of any major injury. I knew something was wrong so I brought her here for a second opinion. The staff quickly took us in and gave her an X-ray, it turned out that she broke her clavicle. The doctors and front staff were very nice, the office is clean, and they even have a kids room with a beautiful mural painted on the wall (my kids really liked this). The doctor even went out of his way to find a specialist that takes my daughter's insurance and quickly got us an appointment. He even did a follow-up phone call to see how my daughter was holding up:) The doctors really showed concern and were very caring. Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend Texan Urgent Care in McCreless. ...read more

Most Important Thing You Need To Know About San Antonio Pediatrician

What would you be able to do if your child gets baby acne? Usually, no aggressive treatment is necessary, as the condition tends to reduce on its own after a few weeks. To relieve your baby, use very mild, gentle soap to cleanse your child's face once daily with lukewarm water. The utilization of lotions and oils are not prescribed, as these may only aggravate the condition. Avoid excessive cleansing, cleaning, or utilization of moisturizers. Baby acne is never brought about by dirt or debris; so excessive cleansing will usually not help. Also, strive to wash your baby's blankets and clothing in very mild detergent that is free of harsh perfumes or colors. You may also need to avoid wearing strong or heavily scented lotions or perfumes around your baby. Keep your baby away from secondhand smoke and other environmental pollutants, as these may only further exacerbate their condition. Be patient, realizing that the condition will gradually diminish with time. If you see the condition worsening, or if it doesn't disappear after six months, visit your pediatrician. Your pediatrician may prescribe a mild topical agent that can help calm your child's skin. In most cases, your pediatrician will try to rule out other potential conditions by taking a medical history of the child's immediate family.
