Kidsville News! is a newspaper for you and about you, so we want to hear from our readers.  There are several ways for your voice to be heard: You must have permission from your parents.  For all entries please include mom and dads phone number.  Kidsville News! Reading and Learning is fun again!

                                                                                  I am excited to bringKidsville News!to San Antonio. This unique publication brings a fun family newspaper and website for teachers, parents and children from K-6 grade.  Kidsville News!has been used to develop reading skills across the United States. It promotes literacy and provides good quality character education.   The publication is in its eleventh year and prints over 1,152,865 across the country. It is the nation's fastest growing children's newspaper and educational resource. With the support of the local community,Kidsville News!is welcomed into elementary schools, libraries and select family oriented businesses. Kidsville News!is always provided free of charge, compliments of our sponsors.  WhileKidsville News!content is educational, it is fun and interactive; keeping children engaged and motivated to learn. One of the key components to our educational and literacy program is Truman, our six-foot life size dragon mascot. Truman loves to be involved in the community. He likes to visit schools and attend events where children congregate in the community. Truman is hip so the kids think he is cool and love him! They love to read his newspaper and visit his website. Truman makes learning fun.  Kidsville News!was awarded the Parents Choice Award in the spring of 2008 and is the only children's newspaper to receive such designation. Parent's Choice Award is the nation's oldest non- profit program created to recognize quality children's media.  Kidsville News!of Bexar County will be launched off May 2010 starting in the northern part of Bexar County with a circulation of 34,000. Our goal is to one day provideKidsville News!across San Antonio.  We look forward to your involvement in bringing this one of a kind publication to our city.
