Milam is in Sabine County area of Texas during the Civil War, the Confederate Army Quartermaster for the county would serve from this location. Major attractions include Pinewinds Art Studio and Old Nacogdoches University Building. Among the biggest companies in Milam are Bryces Landing and Sandras Bar B Q. The biggest schools here are Elementary Schools and McAllen Independent School District. One of the best places to visit when you are in Milam is Fin & Feather Restaurant.

The Bryce's closed dec.07.Mrs. Bryce's health was not good. In April '08 MR. Bryce was diagnosed with brain cancer, we spent most of '08 in LSU for surgery & treatments.His cancer is rare only 1 in every 100,000. have this to shorten this story GOD healed him. We go 11-05-09 for another good report. however this wasn't enough for him. In april '09 he was flewn to Lufkin he had been biten by a copper head. he's well & we will open the 1st of Jan.'10.
