I can say I have been all over Texas - this place is right in the square - cant miss it - and is also operated by the local owner who truley cares of each plate served with perfection! My wife & I ate in the Tin Star Steakhouse in March 2009. We were on a vacation . The food ,service and atmosphere was excellent.I had a 16 oz. ribeye and it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My wife had a chicken fried steak and it was huge....hand breaded....and very tender. The owner came out & checked on us to see that everything was ok. You just don't see that anymore.
