We went to the Yellow Rose on Saturday, Aug 20th. There was a party of 7[ 5 adults and 2 kids]. Upon being seated we were told they were over booked and it would take some extra time to get our meal. We arrived at 7, placed our order by 7:20 and got the order at 8:15. When they brought the bread, there was 3 rolls for 7 people. We had to ask for more, it took another 10 minutes to get 3 more rolls. The steaks were dry and tough, the potatoes were hard and dried out and the "fresh" veggies, weren't fresh two weeks ago. When we ordered our desserts, it took 30 minutes to get them. But they got the bill to the table real quickly. Didn't have to wait on it. This place won't be around long. Go to McDonalds, at least you won't be expecting something nice and fancy and get absolutely nothing. Isn't worth the money or time to go there. ...read more

The service is absolutely terrible. I just went to the Yellow Rose and it was one of the worst dining experiences that I have had in years all due to bad service. First there were 3 people in our party one of which was a child. They only provided flatware and plates for 2. They never brought a 3rd set, so I ended up having to go to a neighboring table myself to get them (when the bread and salad arrived). Earlier, we ordered an appetizer, which never arrived. Once 2 of the 3 entrees arrived, I told the waiter to cancel the appetizer. He again apologized and said that he had forgotten to enter the appetizer into the system. By the point that our entrees arrived all of our drinks were also sitting empty. They had only refilled them when they were bringing the check. Back to only 2 of 3 entrees arriving. Of course the 2 entrees that arrived were for the adults. The child's entree did not arrive until we were nearly finished with our entrees. So of course, the adults gave up a portion ...read more
