Stan Roden represented me when my dad passed away. We were in court many times as there were a lot of issues with nephews trying to take what legally belonged to me. They repeatedly tried using dirty tactics with the guidance and help of a crooked, 'ambulance chaser' type atty, named David Hamilton. Mr Roden held his own many times in court against him. This all went on for quite some time, but was finally settled and I now own the two (2) parcels of land that nephews tried to lay claim to. Jess Campbell represented me in a lawsuit. Anytime I needed a question answered his secretary, Christy Burnette, was there to help. When Jess passed away so did the heart of that office. I am not sure what happened to Christy Burnette after his death, but some company is beyond lucky to have her. There will never be a better pair then those two. ...read more

This is the only firm that refused to accept a smaller amount then owed so I could clear out this bill and have the lein removed from my property. The others did that and were a pleasure to work with. This firm said it wasn't allowed to do that after a judgement was filed with the judge. I proved them wrong but they didn't care. I will continue to make monthly payments for 15 months for $51 when it could have been settled for a little less today. I was told it was impossible to do that. It isn't!!!!! Steve is a terrible attorney. He tells you he is the man for the job but the only job he did was take my money! And don't ever expect a phone call back. The whole time he was my attorney, he never once returned a single phone call! When we went to court he was unprepared and had to rely on the research I did! Steve is the worst lawyer in knoxville! If you are looking for a lawyer to steal your money, never return a single phone call (even after calling for weeks and weeks, and to provide you with the worst representation, Steve is your guy! He takes advantage of people when they are at there lowest point. During the first meeting he will tell you he is the guy for you, collect your money (his retainer fee) and you never hear from him again. Oh unless you make an appointment with him at $400 an hour because you can't get him to take a 15 minute phone call. These people lie and lie and lie. They harass you and do NOT do what they say. They suck and clearly he could not get a job as a reputable attorney because he is shyster. No wonder he only works for a credit collection company that uses harassing tactics trying to get what they want. I don't think he should be allowed to be called a lawyer/attorney.
