Byrdstown is the county seat of Pickett County Tennessee. The town was named after Civil War Colonel Richard Byrd. Major attractions include the Pickett County Courthouse and the Cordell Hull Birthplace, both which are on the National Register of Historical Places. Stay here and did not like it. The sheets were torn and were a faded blue color. The carpets were stained. It was shabby and not well kept. Not of a family at all! ...read more
