About Benton, TN
Benton is the county seat for Polk County, and is a part of the Cleveland region/metro area of Tennessee. The town was named after former U.S. senator Thomas Hart Benton. Major attractions include the Gravesite of Nancy Ward and Buzzard's Roost. Each year in the Fall season there is the Polk County Fair. Local businesses include Riverside Restaurant and Benton Shooters Supply. The biggest school here is Polk County High School.
