The Frugal Framer

Frugal???? I don't think so! The quote they gave me was $180 more than Crafts and Stuff in the same mall. Crafts and Stuff has an experienced staff, several formal Frugal Framer employees, they know what they are doing, and they were 30% less than Frugal! Go to Crafts and Stuff you won't be disappointed!

Very pushy, non friendly manager. The quote that she grudgingly gave me showed a bottom line price, but did not itemize, "extra" charges sneakily added in. Finally after much hemming and hawing, she admitted extra charges are routinely added in. I had the same piece framed elsewhere for less money, and with honest service. I'd NEVER go back to Frugal Framer and would suggest that you look to other places also

I was told that I needed to have a special plywood backing and special "bars" of some sort to hang my picture. The owner was talking over $1000 dollars. I decided for a second opinion at another framer, who had never heard of such thing. The piece is beautifully framed and hanging in my entry , and I saved $400! I'm not sure if the "frugal" people really know what they are doing, they sure aren't frugal!

Went to Michaels to have a print framed at 50% off and it was still going to be over $400. Went to Frugal Framer and the same package was $325. They did it the next day and offered to deliver it for free. Regret not getting my other pieces framed here first.
