South Padre Radisson Resort

Well I know that it has been several years since I stayed at the Radisson hotel but I throughly enjoyed my stay. I loved the overall beauty of the hotel. I was welcomed with open arms and the front desk was extremely helpful during my two day stay. The room was great it was one of the suite rooms that opened up to the swimming pool. The room was very spacious and very well setup. I liked the room due to the fact that we could go out and sit and look at the beach and the swimming pool at the same time. The food in the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The buffet in the morning time was outrageous. All the meals we had were so good. The service was spectacular and the setting was beautiful. I would and have recommemded the Radisson hotel to several of my friends and would do it again. The ambiance of the restaurants and the front desk area was great. The location of the hotel was perfect. You could not have asked for a better place smack dab in the middle of the island. There were lots of shopping, entertainment and other things that were so close you could walk and not even have to get in your car. I would definitely recommend the Radisson on South Padre Island again. Becca Kitcher

South Padre Island is great, relaxing beach getaway. Think Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett. It is also full of cheap motels and hotels calling themselves "resorts" that are nothing but limited service properties. So, finding the Radisson Resort, a true full service hotel was great. It truly is a resort, with a huge pool, restaurant, a fantastic house band, and best of all - it is right on the beach. Although they have regular hotel rooms with a beachview, we chose one of many condos they have on property. Great view of the Gulf and a full kitchen. I promise you will not find a better place to stay. And if you go during the off-season, like we did, you can get a heck of a deal. (we went in late October). They also had wireless internet, which came in handy corresponding with my office.

The Radisson is absolutely a full service resort. We rent a condo when we stay there in the winter and generally find them roomy, comfortable and attractive. On one or two occasions we were given one that was not up to Radisson's general standard and we asked to be switched which was done to our satisfaction. The grounds are lovely and well-kept, the restaurant has an excellent menu(enjoy their Sunday brunch and Friday ngt seafood buffet) and the house showband, Pelican West is incredible! Staff are friendly and we do love the resident macaws, Rad and General. Also enjoy the new Starbucks coffeeshop.

I enjoyed being able to go outside my room and walk right on the beach, all the various activities such as parasailing, rollerblading, etc.

i've been to the radisson almost about every year and i wouldn't change it for the world it's got great restaurants a very nice view right off the beach everyone was friendly and tried to accomidate me as best they could they have a great staff and everything is very clean with out a doubt i will keep coming to the radisson every year
