About Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning
In 2002, Sears made a strategic decision to find local business people to run their carpet cleaning operations. Their belief was that a local owner could do a better job of servicing their Houston-area customers than a corporate office located in another state. In 2003 I accepted the offer to own and manage Sears Carpet & Upholstery Care in Houston. Shortly afterward we started Sears Air Duct Cleaning in Houston, too.With an undergraduate degree in engineering and a graduate degree in business, I have been in service industries for over 35 years including hospitality, healthcare, and transportation. My family and I moved to Houston nearly 20 years ago and loved the city so much we made Houston our permanent home. The Houston operation is now the largest carpet cleaning operation in the Sears family, and its duct cleaning operation is in the top 5. Perennially the operation has been at the top of the annual customer satisfaction ratings, too, and have served over 100,000 customers.
