About Waubay, SD
Waubay, SD is located in the northeast corner of the state in the Glacial Lakes Region. It is known for it's outstanding hunting and fishing and considered among as some of the best in the upper Midwest. Many sportsmen come to this area to participate in their sports, staying in top facilities like the Glacial Lakes Lodge. Other local businesses include Sinner Auto and Nilson Welding and Machine. The city is very proud of it's educational system, the Waubay Public School System, which houses grades K-12. The school is home to the All Band Festival every fall which brings in thousands of spectators.
