Mobridge is in Walworth country located in north-central South Dakota. Major attractions include The Sitting Bull Monument and Gravesite and the annual Mobridge Ice Fishing Tournament. In the spring Mobridge hosts the annual Mobridge Chamber Walleye Classic fishing tournament. Numerous historical sites are located in and around Mobridge, including the Lewis and Clark Ft. Leavenworth Monument. Some of the best places to visit while you are in Mobridge are the Jedidiah Smith Monument, a tribute to one of the nation's foremost pioneers of the West, and the Brown Palace Hotel. Famous persons from Mobridge include Hall of Fame thoroughbred trainer Bill Mott.
