I received a Coach purse as a gift and it started coming apart 1 month later, so I asked the person who gave it to me where they got it so that I could get it replaced, they told me Funbags. I went there (knowing full well that this obviously was not an authentic Coach purse) and they assured me that it was as real as real gets and even claimed to be an authorized dealer for Coach. I called Coach and asked them, they said that Funbags is not a dealer. When I called back to the store with this information, the lady said that no she was not an authorized dealer the discounter that she got the purse from was an authorized dealer and the reason that she could sell Coach purses for less that half the cost that they normally go for is because they are late season purses, only Coach doesn’t do that. So, Funbags is either buying replicas and claiming that they are real and selling them for way too much or selling counterfeits at a too good to be true price (both of which are very illegal). ...read more

I bought a wallet from a Funbags booth at a convention. The cashier told me they had no receipts, but if I'd like one, she'd write one out by hand. I told her that, yes, I'd like a receipt in case something went wrong with the wallet. She wrote out a receipt on the back of one of her business cards. Ten minutes later, I tried to transfer the contents from my old wallet and discovered they didn't fit in the new wallet. I immediately attempted to return the wallet and was told "No refunds. Only exchanges." Obviously, I didn't want another wallet that was too small and didn't need anything else. What really irked me is when I told her earlier that I'd like a receipt in case something went wrong, at that point she should have spoken up and said, "We don't do returns." Also, there was no sign anywhere saying "No refunds." Perhaps there is in their store in the mall, but there wasn't one that was obvious at their booth at the convention. All I can say is WOW! If you love handbags as much as I do, go to Funbags. And there are 2 stores! The one in Brookings and also one in the mall in Watertown. The styles are amazing, the choices are endless, and the prices are fantastic! Funbags has become my favorite store! Every time I go in there, they have all new purses. It's fantastic. P.S.
