Nothing spectacular, but good breakfast this AM. I like crispy hash-browns, and always _ask_ for them, but not always _get_ them. This place does them right. Two eating, <$12 = low cost for good foods. Cute curvy spinner waitress a bonus. :) ...read more

This place looks like a hole in the wall, but its food is very very good. It serves a meat and two vegetables with lots of homemade items. I had the fried pork chops and my wife had the fried chicken. While the chicken was just average, the pork chops were excellent. The fried green tomatoes were the best that I have ever eaten. The fried squash was very good as well. The mac & cheese and baby limas were average. Service was friendly but the manager could bone up on her friendliness. My only complaint and the only reason I did not give them 5 stars was due to their lack of things for small children and their price. It is a little high for a meat and two vegetables. ...read more

All the (very Southern) food was scruptious and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with the owners, servers and folks at the table next to ours. It was more than just a meal. It was like a great visit with good 'country' neighbors! It was a really fun visit. ...read more

How Do Restaurants Make Enchiladas?

Many people think that an enchilada in a restaurant is much better than anything they can ever find at home, unless they know a lot of Hispanic people.
