About Mullins, SC
The city of Mullins, named for William Mullins, a railroad president, is located in Marion County, South Carolina and is home to South Carolina's largest tobacco market. Major attractions include the Marion County Museum and the South Carolina Tobacco Museum. Each year on the fourth Saturday of September, the Golden Leaf Festival, which features features entertainment and arts and crafts for sale, is held here. The biggest schools here are Pee Dee Academy and Mullins High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Mullins is nearby, 835-acre Little Pee Dee State Park, where you can enjoy camping, hiking on a trail, picnincking, fishing and boating.
