SSCS Professional Profile:

SassyStone Consulting Services was developed by Art Linn Stone in 2008. After working in corporate management for a substantial number of years, Art Linn discerned that many worthy employees (real worker-bees) were being overlooked for promotions while many slacker-bees were continuously getting ahead - more money, higher positions, and more notoriety - for doing little to contribute to the company's growth. Art Linn decided that it was time for a change and began planning to leave the corporate rat race for a more controllable, ego-free, productive work life.

The new path was to start a company that would be supportive of all people, regardless of their levels in the workforce and life, in general. SassyStone Consulting Services identifies issues that people feel are stagnating their personal and professional growth, then works toward resolving those issues one by one.

Many of SassyStone's clients have disclosed a deep desire to have their own businesses where they can be free to be creative, artistic, and productive. These worthy characteristics, coupled with respect, equate to general happiness in all aspects of one's life. Other clients have expressed a desire to demonstrate their team-oriented skill sets and loyalty in an environment that has strong, effective leadership - an environment where corporate heads know that egos do not belong in the workforce, but rather humble mentalities of working along with teams.

SassyStone Consulting Services promotes personal and professional growth and empowerment for clients who have come to realize that life should not be a dysfunctional, difficult passage. Life is not hard; it is the adverse behaviors of some of the people in it that make it hard.

SassyStone teaches clients that one cannot control the behaviors of others. However, one can control how one responds to that behavior. Some behaviors warrant no response, while other behaviors invite responses of a positive nature. SassyStone teaches clients to ignore the negative as much as possible and enhance the positive whenever opportunity strikes.

People want and need strong leadership. People thrive in an environment that offers clear direction, support and respect. People cannot function well in an environment that condones chaos and confusion. Unfortunately, many companies in current operation have not hired the appropriate Leads to run an effective operation. Separately, most Leads are sufficiently qualified to perform their job. Collectively, however, these Leads are dysfunctional, lack synergy and team-orientation, and usually struggle with peers for power. In the process, productive employees get hurt and no real work is accomplished. SassyStone is established to change this counter-productive mentality.
