Riverbend Event Center

Riverbend is extremely beautiful; however, the staff and owner are awful. I had my wedding there this year, and although the wedding turned out gorgeous, there was a lot of behind the scenes drama that I would not wish on any bride.\r\nWe were repeatedly lied to, stood up, and ignored throughout the whole planning process. We could not even get the owner to meet with us to collect her remaining balance for the venue. Many of the things that were promised to us did not happen when it came time for our wedding. The Bridal Suite has a wasp nest and ants everywhere. My hairstylist was actually stung while fixing our hair. We also paid for a licensed bar tender, and found out the day of the wedding that the owner would be bartending. She also drank OUR alcohol during the reception. The food was not up to par either. Very bad experience with this place.

Very unprofessional and unorganized! Worst catering I have ever had, either it was over cooked or uncooked. Owner and staff looked like they just rolled out of bed the day of the wedding. The setting is lovely
