  I recently read of 2 FDA re-calls, one was a respiratory drug and the other was an anti-inflammatory drug.  Both drugs had been on the market for at least 10 years and all of a sudden, people are dying from these drugs.....hmmmmm????  Something seems fishy to me............in order for the drugs to make it to the open market, they have to go through research&development protocols as well as clinical trials for safety and efficiacy by Big Pharma.  Once that has been accomplished they are scrutinized by the FDA in order to receive their blessing to be sold on the open market.  Here's the thing that has me both confused and angry.......the FDA comes to the rescue by pulling dangerous drugs off the market, drugs which they had deemed safe and effective only a short time before; isn't this paramount to a student taking and then grading his own test?  It's a scam......under the cloak and protection of the government and multi-billion dollar corporations, the institute that is suppossed to be protecting us, is acting as judge and executioner. 

    I just wanted to throw this out there in hopes that it will give you pause as to who does and who does not have our best interests at heart.

   Strategic Base Health means identifying the areas of your health which may be lacking and putting together a plan to improve those areas. The plan should be written down and include the end-result you would like to see, a timeline and action steps to accomplish the goal. The 3 main areas are healthy movement, healthy eating and healthy thinking. Start slowly and always move in a positive/forward direction. (Add good things rather than subtracting bad things)

   Here's an example of how this works.......

For the next 4 weeks: (each day)

1. Eat one more serving of vegetable
2. Do 10-20 jumping-jacks (or exercise of your choice)
3. Say 1 affirmation

Example Affirmation:  "I create wonderful, new, empowering beliefs for myself.  I am always safe. Life is filled with joy and love.  I am always healthy and whole. I learn from my mistakes. I am willing to change and grow. Today will be a great day because I will make it a great day!"

As time progresses, change the action-steps. Add bigger, more complex and more specific goals moving forward.  This is just step one..........you need to figure the rest out for yourself; I'd love to be able to tell you, but I'm still figuring it out myself.
