About Puronics
Puronics sells water treatment solutions to homeowners and businesses in search of purer, softer water. The Livermore, California-based company was founded in 1947, and at that time was known as the Ionics Consumer Water Products Group. The group, which was a division of Ionics, Incorporated, was acquired in 2005 by GE Water and Process Technologies. One year later, the name was changed to Puronics. As part of Puronics’ whole home solutions, the company offers water softeners, drinking water purifiers, and solutions for problem water systems, with products including the Terminator IQ Series and Filtramax. Customers generally notice clearer glassware, softer linens and towels, better-tasting coffee, and more after using the Puronics system. These solutions also save money on energy bills, repairs, and the general maintenance of water appliances. Businesses go to Puronics for reverse osmosis, water conditioning, and water filtration. Devices include the HT Series, the HF Series, and for reverse osmosis, the Life-RO Series. Customers only can purchase Puronics products from dealers, as the products are not sold in major retail centers. Puronics dealers are extensively trained in water treatment. Interested entrepreneurs have the option of owning a Puronics Platinum Dealership. By running a Puronics-approved water treatment store, owners receive access to a low-cost start-up program, professional sales and marketing assistance, and on-site consulting. Dealers also can expect technical and field support, as well as service training. Sales awards, bonus incentives, and the opportunity to attend national conventions at luxury resorts are other benefits afforded a Puronics Platinum Dealership.
