Physicians Immediate Care celebrates the Ribbon Cutting and Business after Hours at the relocation of their Belvidere Clinic to 1663 Belvidere Road, Belvidere, Illinois. The new location is across from Walmart at the corner of Belvidere Road and Route 20. The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007, followed by the Business after Hours from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with food and a tour of the new facility. Attendees will include Belvidere Mayor Fred Brereton and Tom Lassandro Executive Director of Belvidere Chamber of Commerce. Physicians Immediate Care Board physicians and staff will answer questions regarding extended hours and services during the Ribbon Cutting and Open House. Other services such as physical therapy ergonomic assessment, body mechanics and injury prevention are also available at Physical Therapy Plus. Physicians Immediate Care now offers nine convenient walk-in clinic locations and four Physical Therapy Plus locations. For the public, Physicians Immediate Care offers what is known outside of Illinois as "urgent care," i.e., a walk-in clinic that treats patients for non-life-threatening problems--such as sprains, strains, lacerations, fractures, pink eye, colds, flu, and bronchitis. Patients suffering true emergencies should be seen in hospital emergency departments. Most patients, however, who need timely treatment can be evaluated and treated at Physicians Immediate Care. The ninth clinic for Physicians Immediate Care opened on 600 Adams Street in the Chicago-Loop on October, 2006. The location is two blocks from the Union Station Railroad terminal and adjacent to the Presidential Towers. With origins in Rockford, IL, Physicians Immediate Care has served the public for nineteen years. The centers have been traditionally known as urgent care centers , in serving the public with walk-in, on-demand ambulatory healthcare for non-emergency health conditions. In Illinois, the term urgent care center is not allowed by law, so these centers are generally referred to as ambulatory clinics or walk-in clinics.

The centers offer on-site x-ray equipment, laboratory studies, laceration repair, casting, splinting, care for minor eye injuries, EKG, hearing testing, and other services.

Weekdays: 7:30am - 8pm

Saturdays: 10am - 8pm

Sundays: 10am - 4pm
