The former site of Rebecca's seems to want you to believe it's gone a step higher, but fails miserably. A nice place, with nice people, striving to be something much more than it truly is. From a wedge salad that was lettuce and bleu cheese only, to a filet wrapped in bacon, forgetting the bacon, Madeline's left much to be desired at a cost well above its worth. Embrace your slogan, kick it down a notch, and live a little more pub like and it'll become a much more enjoyable place. Offer tomatoes and bacon on your wedge, and don't serve calamari out of the freezer aisle. The breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning is so good here. We love to sit outside on a nice morning and pretend we are on vacation. The service is wonderful as well. We also had dinner there several times...always great experience and delicious food. ...read more
