Girard is a part of the Erie County region/metro area of Pennsylvania. Major attractions include Over Lake Golf Course and WLD Ranch. Each year in the fall season there is the Annual Light The NIght Walk. Among the biggest companies in Girard are Honeycutts Greenhouse and millers treeservice. The biggest schools here are Girard High School and Springfield Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Girard is Westway Lanes.

This used to be a nice clean place to go to. I dont know what happened but over the past several years it is a less than desirable place to be. The floors are absolutely filthy. The bathroom was horrendous and I was afraid to use it. The owner seems to have lost total interest in operating a professional atmosphere. I have been there on several occasions and while the other stylist was busy, the owner was so engrossed in playing on her cell phone that it took several minutes for her to even notice I was there. The front of the salon looks like a continual yard sale..Table is full of used items for sale, pretty tacky if you ask me. Despite all of that, I continued to go because I really liked the service my stylist was giving me.
