A few years ago, I was ripped off by Apple & Eve Antiques who paid less than fair market prices and even stole something that belonged to my late grandfather. I clearly would not deal with them again, so I researched dealers online. Keystone had great reviews so I called them.\t\n\t\nThe woman who answered the phone was polite and quickly offered quotes for some of the items I mentioned. Then she asked me to visit the store for more appraisals. My husband and I pulled a few items from our stash of gold and silver coins for appraisals and went to Keystone.\t\n\t\nThe man greeted us and asked us to lay out our items as he handled a phone call. When we were ready, he assessed the value of the items and gave us a fair market price for the items we chose to sell. He asked for my driver's license (ID) since I was a new customer and quickly gave a receipt and check. We took it to the bank before closing and now have money to pay some bills.\t\n\t\nThis was much faster than trying to sell items individually on eBay auctions. I would have to list each item and hope people bid on them, pay a listing fee and have to ship items to the buyers. The auctions take days to end and people may not even buy them. It made much more sense to sell locally instantly and save myself time and work. eBay did help to show the average price for the items sold and I could see that I got fair prices.\t\n\t\nThis store values gold and silver.
