I was in Christie school perhaps 4-6 years ago, in the co-ed cottage, its not a bad experience, we went a lot of places and did a lot of simple projects , but as in all places like that things happen when you have a bunch of kids and teens cooped up together for 3-9 months on end. tension builds. but that's were you learn control and realize that a simple change of actions and thinking , and (of course) someone to talk to + the time to listen to you feels good. Not everyone gets the same thing out of Christie school, but it helped me. It just takes time and the will to want to change. i lived at the christie school when i was 11. that was 1997. i was sexually assualted by a staff member when i first got 2 a&e. then on top of that, they pushed the incident up under the rug. i am the reason why all staff members have 2 have a background check. they made me stay even after the man confessed 2 what he did 2 me. i am 22 now. i hope that someone who works there reads this. i plan on suein this instituition. it will be soon.i am in the military now and am on my second deployment. i pcs to washington january 2011. i am takin this instituition 2 court. ...read more
